| | Packaging material supply |  | The printed or transparent polyethylene film is simultaneously supplied from an upper and a lower roll of film. The rolls are surface driven. A specially designed film-web dancer system guarantees the right web tension. The film magazine allows approx. 2000m of film to be put on a single roll, ensuring that the rolls need to be changed only once or twice during a three-shift operation. The installation of a new roll can be carried out by one operator and does not require manual lifting of the roll. |
| | Tension Wrap Sealing - TWS |  | All StarWrap machines are equipped with a compact sealing bar unit connected via rapid changeover fasteners. Top and bottom vacuum bars, together with tucking fingers on side sealing stations, guarantee a symmetric gusset, a tight bundle and a clean seal on all four sides. Servo driven main sealing station for cross directional seal. Two lateral sealing stations and gusset devices for side seal with trim removal.
4-sided sealing or single tape strapping - the same machine is able to produce a package which is either completly compressed and wrapped on all sides, or only held together by strapping. |
